Lever Fabergé has earmarked a budget of £7m to back its Lynx and Impulse bodyspray brands this year and is kicking off the programme with new additions to both ranges.
A Touch fragrance joins the Lynx range this month, with TV and cinema ads. Newcomer Goddess will swell the Impulse ranks, helped by TV ads with the theme ‘Summon your inner goddess’. Packaging for the new Goddess packs will feature captions with the same theme.
James Griffin, category strategy manager, said it was vital to invest heavily in the booming deodorants market, adding the past 12 months had seen a 5% year-on-year sales increase driven by innovation.
