Linda McCartney’s has launched a duo of seasonal SKUs and brought back its Vegetarian Roast ahead of the Christmas season.
Its soya-based Vegetarian Red Onion & Rosemary Stuffing Balls (rsp: £2.75/240g) and relaunched ‘McCartney family favourite’ Roast (rsp: £5) are available exclusively from Tesco.
Meanwhile, the new vegan Turkey & Cranberry Plait (rsp: £2), which consists of butternut squash, spinach and cranberry with soya and wheat protein, wrapped in a puff pastry plait, is available in Sainsbury’s.
Linda McCartney’s said it aimed to provide a greater variety of festive plant-based products for flexitarians and those on meat-free diets.
“Being meat-free at Christmas can be tricky and it’s important for us to provide delicious options for our customers that exceed their expectations,” said the company’s MD, Nadine Maggi.
“We are very excited to be bringing back the Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Roast this year. It’s a firm festive favourite of the McCartney family and we hope it becomes a festive tradition for many other families too.”
