Dessert chain Little Dessert Shop is aiming to double its estate to 100 sites by the end of 2027 as it continues expanding in the UK.
The company currently operates 50 franchised sites and has signed 15 new locations for the next year.
The new locations include Doncaster, Cheshire and Oldham in the north, and Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth in the south.
“Little Dessert Shop is aiming to secure 15-20 new locations in 2025, with new store openings already planned in January/February in Doncaster, Cheshire and Oldham,” said founder and business director Mu’azzam Ali.
“We’re actively targeting key growth areas with significant untapped potential. Our franchise team is currently focused on securing licences in Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Newcastle – regions we’ve identified through market analysis, social media engagement and consumer demand.”
“Our long-term goal of 100 to 200 UK store locations remains in place. With limited licences available, we are taking a strategic and selective approach to expansion.
“Many of these locations are already at various stages within our franchise pipeline, ensuring we prioritise markets with the highest potential for long-term success.”
The business opened its first shop in Wolverhampton in 2015 and is expecting to open 20 more stores in 2025.
