Free-from confectionery brand Livia’s Kitchen has scored its first big four listing after launching into over 200 Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.
The brand’s ‘naturally sweet and indulgent’ snack packs, including Raw Millionaire Bites in Salted Caramel and Chocolate Orange, and Biccy Boms in Salted Maca Caramel and Chocolate (£1.50/40g), are rolling out into the Freefrom aisles of 206 Sainsbury’s this month.
“We’re extremely excited to launch the Livia’s Kitchen range of delicious chocolatey treats in Sainsbury’s Freefrom,” said Sainsbury’s buyer Lucy Padfield. “We are looking forward to customers trying them and hope they will love them’
Livia’s Kitchen, which was already available in Selfridges, Whole Foods Market, Ocado, Planet Organic and Waitrose, recently launched an online shop and plans to start exporting its free from gluten, wheat, dairy and refined sugar lines to retailers across the Europe and US next year.
“Our aim is to shake up the existing confectionery market in a big way,” said founder Olivia Wollenberg. “We’re launching into WH Smith Travel stores next month, and are currently in the process of finalising our third exciting range, which we plan to launch in early 2018.”
