Londis has reported an “unprecedented rush in recruitment” as 45 stores prepare to join the symbol group.
The new recruits includes 22 independents and the News Plus chain of 23 CTN-based stores, which joins on a three-year contract.
Londis sales director Terry bedford said: “This is a positive step and endorses our success in converting CTN-based shops into full convenience.
“As a priority, we shall work with News Plus to obtain licences for unlicenced outlets.”
