Spanish wine producer Codorníu has appointed Bill Breen as md of its London office. Breen commented: "Codorníu has a strong portfolio of premium, sparkling and table wines and I look forward to contributing to their development in the UK and Ireland." He was previously sales director for Southcorp UK & Ireland from 1999-2000. Before that he was sales director of Southcorp UK from 1990-1999. He presided over Southcorp's rise to become the UK's number one Australian wine importer, building and motivating its sales team and seeing sales rocket from 300,000 to over three million cases. He began his career as a graduate trainee in the Courage/Kinlock scheme. He went on to work for Saccone & Speed Wholesale, where his roles included brand manager for Southern Comfort and Glenlivet Whisky. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
