Snack brand Love Chin Chin has launched in 434 Asda stores across the UK.
Available in vanilla and cinnamon variants, the sweet, crunchy bites are based on a popular West African fried snack and come in an ‘ethnically inspired’ 70g pack (rsp: £1).
“We use a unique traditional family recipe inspired by my mother’s cooking to create our chin chin, a super-satisfying snack that was such a childhood favourite of mine,” said Bolu Akindoyin, MD of Love Chin Chin, which specialises in reinventing West African foods for the world market.
“I am thrilled that, with these exciting new listings in Asda stores, we can further spread the word and get so many more people to enjoy this sensational snack food. We get great customer feedback wherever we go.”
The brand plans to support its Asda launch - which follows a Tesco listing - with in-store samplings and heavy promotion on social media.
