Low & no RTD cocktails startup Swish has made its debut.
The brand claims to offer “a menu of reimagined classics”, “expertly crafted” in collaboration with mixologist Rich Woods.
It has launched a ‘Light’ range of 5% abv cocktails and a ‘Virgin’ range with no alcohol. The drinks contained premium aged spirits “for a greater depth of flavour”, blended with 100% natural botanical extracts and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, said Swish.
Both ranges offer Piña Colada Spritz, Key Lime Pie Mojito Fizz and Breakfast Fizz, flavours, with the Virgin range also including a non-alcoholic Mojito Fizz.
The Virgin range was designed to “offer the incredible flavours and experience of a bar-quality cocktail, just without the alcohol”, said the brand.
They have rolled out in 125ml aluminium cans and 175ml glass bottles into the brand’s webstore. (£2.75-£3.50).
They were “perfect for convenient entertaining and on-the-go sipping”, said Swish.
It comes amid a flurry of activity in the wider low & no category. Bax Botanics, for example, last month unveiled a range of non-alcoholic RTDs billed as being “perfect for picnics”.
Big players are at it, too.
Pernod Ricard, for instance, has revamped its non-alcoholic spirits brand Ceder’s to lure in new shoppers, while Lyre’s has brought in an investment banking specialist to ramp up its global growth.
