Müller is turning its attention to its low fat range with the launch this month of a range of desserts called Müller Fruit Halo.
The yogurt giant is also giving its Müllerlight yogurt portfolio a packaging facelift with clearer pictures of the relevant flavour, and adding a new Mandarin variant to the 11 others in the range.
Made with fromage frais and fruit sauce, the virtually fat-free Fruit Halo newcomers have 125 calories per pot with 0.5g of fat. They come in Vanilla with Strawberry, Peach & Pineapple with Passion Fruit and Toffee with Apple flavours, with twin packs of 145g pots retailing at around 99p. The primary target is health-conscious consumers aged between 20 and 55.
Müller has earmarked £5.5m for Müllerlight's 2003 marketing budget, and activity is set to include an integrated mix of advertising and instore promotions.
