Lyle’s is hoping to ‘trick or treacle’ shoppers this autumn with a limited-edition tin for Halloween.
The black treacle tin, which rolls out next month, features a red pumpkin face and is designed to attract younger consumers to the brand.
It will be stocked nationwide in the major multiples (rsp: 88p) and will be supported by in-store promotions emphasising the versatility of black treacle and offering recipe suggestions.
