Unilever has added a new range of male grooming products to its Lynx portfolio.
Lynx Apollo, which is available now, comprises a body spray, deodorant, roll on, shampoo, styling and shower gel (rsp: £1.89/roll-on to £4.29/styling gel).
Featuring a laser-style space design, Lynx Apollo was “the most epic” launch from the brand to date, said Unilever, which is supporting the newcomer with a £12.6m push.
“Following on from the huge success of Lynx Excite and Lynx Attract, Lynx Apollo will be the brand’s main focus for 2013,” said brand manager Mark Aschmann.
“The strong, sweet, nutty aroma of clary sage combined with sparkling fruits gives a teasing and fresh first impression, perfect for helping men get ahead in the mating game,” he said.
Details of the ad campaign, which kicks off early next year, are still under wraps. But it would include TV and digital activity, Aschmann added.
