A swathe of ready meals, sandwiches, salads, dips and table sauces sold across grocery, convenience and foodservice channels have been recalled for containing undeclared peanuts.
All impacted products contain mustard powder supplied by FGS Ingredients Ltd, which was found by the Leicester business to contain the allergen.
It first issued a recall of 48 products last week, but the list has since been updated several times. At the time of writing, 66 products were impacted, including eight macaroni cheese SKUs and four BBQ sauces.
Spar appears to have been hit the hardest, with 28 lines impacted. They include Macaroni Cheese 400g, Chicken & Bacon Sandwich Filler 220g, Coleslaw 1kg, Tuna & Corn Pasta Salad 250g and BLT Sandwich 250g.
Jack’s, meanwhile, has seen five of its products recalled, including Egg Mayonnaise and Coronation Chicken 200g Deli Fillers.
Domino’s Garlic & Herb (25g & 100g) and Honey & Mustard (25g) dips have also been recalled, along with Aldi’s private label Carlos Takeaway Garlic & Herb Dip (100g) and Harvester BBQ Sauce (320ml).

FGS Ingredients Ltd has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
Point of sale notices will be displayed where the products were sold. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
The FSA has urged shoppers with an allergy to peanuts not to eat the affected products. Instead, they should follow the advice given by the business from which they bought the product.
Aldi and Jack’s, for instance, have advised shoppers to return the impacted products to stores for a full refund, while Domino’s has asked its customers to dispose of the affected dips.
The Grocer has approached FGS Ingredients Ltd, along with all the affected businesses, for comment.
