Mackie’s of Scotland has launched sharing bags of crisps containing a dip mix inside each pack.

Crinkle Cut Dippers & Dip Mix, which will be available from the end of July, contains thick, salted crisps and a sachet of sour cream & chive dip mix (rsp: £1.99/150g).

“Our dip mix is a new concept here, but it is already popular in other countries like America,” said development director Kirstin Mackie.

The offer is also being joined by new Arran Honey Mustard crisps (rsp: £1.69/150g) and a multi-format containing five 30g bags (rsp: £1.69).

Mackie’s first entered the crisps market in 2009. It is also extending its ice cream portfolio with four new variants, including Prune & Oats.
