Madness joins beer battle of the bands with Gladness ale

Pop legends Madness have teamed up with Growler Brewery - formerly Nethergate - to create Gladness, which is made with lager hops but brewed like an ale. The beer rolled out this weekend exclusively through the Nicholson’s pub estate but will be available bottled to the off-trade later this year. The move follows the launch of Trooper ale, which was developed by Iron Maiden, is produced by Robinsons and rolling out to Morrisons now.
