Southern Style, Katsu Style and Korean BBQ Style have rolled into Aldi

Maggi has expanded its dedicated range of air fryer seasonings with a trio of crispy coatings for chicken.

Southern Style, Katsu Style and Korean BBQ Style (rsp: 99p/70g) all delivered ”delicious crunch”, said Maggi.

They have rolled into Aldi, and will hit B&M from mid-April before rolling out more widely in July.

“We’re so excited to be introducing the new Maggi Air Fryer Crispy Coating Mixes to cooking enthusiasts in the UK,” said Maggi UK & Ireland head of marketing Danielle McAreavey.

“Building on the huge success of Maggi Air Fryer seasonings last year, these coatings are perfect for those wanting to inject some excitement into their everyday recipes whilst still creating healthy meals, quickly and easily,” McAreavey added.

Maggi certainly isn’t the only fmcg brand innovating to tap growing rates of air fryer ownership among UK consumers.

Frylight launched a pure oil spray, specifically designed for food prepared in an air fryer in February.

McCain debuted Air Fryer oven chips last May; these were followed by Air Bites, which launched under its Strong Roots brand in October.

It then kicked off 2025 with McCain Vibes, a “game-changing” crisp-chip hybrid designed for air fryers, which launched into Iceland in January.
