Magners is launching two low-calorie, fruit flavoured variations for its Magners Light range.
Magners Pear Light (abv 4.5%) and Magners Orchard Berries Light (abv 4%) contain 103 calories per bottle and will retail in packs of 4x330ml.
“The new additions to the Magners Light range will attract a variety of audiences but particularly 20 to 30-year-old female drinkers who love the original flavour and refreshment of regular Magners but are looking for fewer calories,” said Ed Shoebridge, head of customer marketing at C&C Group.
“There is no other low calorie cider retaining the same ABV on the market, therefore this new proposition is in a strong position to perform well in the UK off trade.”
Orchard Berries Light will launch in Tesco stores nationwide this week.
Magners plans to support the off trade launch with in-store initiatives to drive awareness.
