Mars is looking to generate sales for its Twix brand by bringing out a limited edition mint version of the popular two-finger snack.
Available from August 13 for a "strict eight-week period", the snack comes with mint-flavoured caramel.
Packed in a green and gold wrapper, the variant is expected to "mirror the success" of the previous limited edition Twix Choc'n'Orange bar.
The mint version will be available in two packs 58g standard (rsp: 27p) and a 295g nine finger version for supermarkets (rsp: 99p). The launch will be supported by "extensive" sampling activity.
