Nichols Foods is rolling out its Maltesers hot chocolate drink in a jar shaped like the sweet.
As well as sporting its confectionery sibling's red branding, the beverage, which is produced under licence from Masterfoods, also has an improved recipe. Sachets  launched two years ago  also have the new look. The new jar (rsp: £1.79) will benefit from Masterfoods' £4.5m marketing spend on Maltesers this year, while Nichols Foods plans sampling for the drink.
Brand manager Dean Towey said the new pack offered "something different" while maintaining the brand's values.
