Marks & Spencer continues with its road to recovery programme with its recent announcement that it has acquired the Per Una brand and company from George Davis for £125m.
George Davis will continue to be responsible for the business and will remain as chief executive of the company for at least two years.
The company announced last month that its clothing and food divisions were still deteriorating and its underlying sales at the home division plummeted by almost 20% for the 10 weeks to September 18.
