New M&S Food Christmas products are currently landing in US retail giant Target’s stores.
The retailer has joined forces with the American chain to sell some of its most iconic seasonal products in Target stores across the US, as well as online.
Pictures posted to social media by GlobalData Retail MD Neil Saunders show the displays being set up in the festive food area alongside other branded products.
Saunders tweeted the partnership was known internally as ‘Project Wildcat’. It includes a seasonal fixture, another freestanding tower fixture, and an endcap.
M&S just being set up in Target! Known internally as Project Wildcat, there will be this fixture, a freestanding tower fixture, and an endcap. Hopefully it will have real impact - which is what Marks & Sparks deserves! pic.twitter.com/PW4SwuSt21

The focused range of treats includes a total of 15 festive bestsellers, M&S confirmed, including caramels, gingerbread houses, and shortbread biscuits.
The holiday-themed signage reads ‘Introducing Marks & Spencer Food, beautifully crafted treats imported from Britain and loved around the world’.
“M&S is a global business which sells high-quality food and clothing & home ranges in over 100 different markets from US to Australia,” an M&S spokeswoman said.
“We run a capital light model which means working with select partners in markets or online to grow the M&S brand.
“We have launched an initial run of 15 Christmas lines with Target in the US and we’re excited to see the customer response.”
Grocery Insight CEO and retail expert Steve Dresser said it was “a great piece of work” for both businesses.
