Marks and Spencer will open its first store in Russia in the Autumn.
The retailer said that it would be opening a store in Moscow with its franchise partner FIBA.
The store will predominantly sell clothes but more products from the M&S range would be added if it proves successful.
Stuart Rose, chief executive of M&S said: “We think Russia is a good market opportunity.”
