Marks and Spencer has appointed Kate Bostock - currently a product director for Asda's George collection - to take over from Steve Longdon as boss of its womenswear department.
Bostock has been product director for the George global brand since 2001.
M&S also said it was appointing Andrew Skinner as director of menswear, Matt Hudson as director of lingerie and beauty and Jack Peterson to the newly-created position of director of home.
