Marks & Spencer is rolling out a party service to stores to capitalise on the popularity of its Christmas ordering service.
Called ‘Leave it to us…’ it is geared towards customers ordering food for special occasions, from informal suppers to large buffet parties. M&S Leave it to us manager Scott Muncaster said M&S had created many new lines for a 130 product catalogue. He said: “This easy-to-use and stress-free service has been created in direct response to customers’ feedback. We’ve invested in the latest systems and instore training to ensure ordering is easy.”
Customers place orders at their local store for collection seven days later. Products in the range include larger pack sizes of popular lines such Salmon en Croute, Crispy Aromatic Duck, Caesar Salad and Wickedly Indulgent Chocolate & Vanilla Cheesecake.
Other dishes on offer include sliced salmon, lobster and prawn terrine surrounded by warm water prawns and a lasagne in a stoneware serving dish for six to eight guests.
