Merrydown has promoted from within to fill its long term vacancy for a director of marketing.
Mike Coppard, who joined the company 18 months ago as customer marketing controller, has been acting director since the summer.
He is to concentrate on the Shloer brand, targeting foodservice and the leisure industry in his new role, and oversee the Merrydown Vintage cider brand.
He said: "The business has been restructured over the last two years, and is now on a firm footing and back in profit.
"We have arrested decline in the cider business. My plan for the immediate future is to keep the momentum going and treble turnover on a three year horizon."
