Ginsters has appointed Linda Evans as sales and marketing director.
Evans joins Ginsters from Grampian Country Food Group, where she headed up the company's business unit for Sainsbury. She has wide experience in the food industry, having held sales, marketing and category management positions at St Ivel and Nestlé. At Nestlé she was marketing director and relaunched the Munch Bunch and Ski brands.
She replaces Peter Judge, who left the role in January to become MD of The Grocer Big 30 wholesaler DBC Foodservice.
Evans will be responsible for NPD, and sales and marketing strategies, heading a national sales team of 20 and a van sales team of 200.
She said: "I have always wanted a combined role of sales and marketing and this feels like a dream job on such a great brand.
"Ginsters is known for quality and bringing innovation to the industry, and we will continue to concentrate our efforts on these areas."
