Marston's is introducing lightweight glass bottles across its beer brands in a move that it claims will save 1,000 tonnes of glass.
The company plans to have rolled out lighter bottles across its entire ale portfolio by June this year.
The move follows the company's first phase of 'light-weighting' on some of its brands last year.
"We are proud to further reduce our impact on the environment and hope this will set an example for other brands," said Marston's take-home
category manager Justin Way.
