Upmarket meat delivery box supplier Field & Flower has become the first UK food company to team up with Amazon’s new Treasure Truck initiative.
The Treasure Truck, launched in the UK last December, is described by Amazon as a “unique and fun-filled way” to shop for new or trending local items, and sees the web giant travel the country in a fleet of trucks offering shoppers special, limited edition deals.
After customers select a specific offer in the Amazon app, they can choose a time and location to collect in person from the Truck.

Field & Flower was approached by Amazon after it spotted the brand’s Instagram posts. It has taken part in two separate rounds of TT events, offering specially selected sirloin steak and beef and bone marrow burger lines, and has seen a 3% uplift in conversions to its own website as a result.
“Our first offer sold out in just 52 minutes with a total of 1,200 steaks sold,” said co-founder James Mansfield, who added revenues from ongoing business with Amazon could reach as much as £2m this year. “It’s been a fantastic experience.”
