Integrated dairy business Milk Link is launching its first branded product, a long-life milk range called Moo.
Rolling out now, the skimmed, semi-skimmed and whole milk UHT offerings will be available across the grocery spectrum in Tetra packaging and resealable screw-top square cartons, with an rsp of 51p per litre.
According to the company, 95% of 800 people surveyed could not tell the difference between fresh semi-skimmed milk and Moo long life milk. It plans to base marketing activity around this finding, including a sampling campaign.
Brand manager Sarah Baldwin said: “Moo is just fresh milk packaged to last longer.”
