Breakfast brand Moma is expanding its retail range with instant porridge pots as it eyes 100% sales growth.
The Moma Porridge range, previously available from the brand’s railway station stalls and via foodservice businesses, is launching this week into 98 Sainsbury’s stores, Ocado and independent retailers.
Available in original, cranberry, golden syrup and ‘no-added sugar’, the pots (rsp: £1.29) contain a mix of wholegrain jumbo oats and dried fruit.
Moma - best-known for its single-serve pots of Bircher muesli - is hoping the porridge pots will help to double sales of the £2m brand. A Moma spokesman said it was exploring new porridge and muesli formats.
