Wine producer Robert Mondavi is reducing its assets in Chile by selling its interests in the Caliterra brand.
The company has announced changes to its joint venture with Viña Errázuriz, which will take full control of Caliterra and merge it into the Viña Errázuriz portfolio of wines to “create a strong global presence”.
Robert Mondavi said the move was intended to reduce its assets in Chile, as management of the vineyards would be passed to its partner. However, it will retain a 50% stake in the Seña and Arboleda ranges.
