Walkers is to relive last year's Moneybags craze by bringing the promotion back for a second run.
And it claims the "most successful in-pack promotion of 2000" will be even bigger this time around.
Last year's push, when £5 and £20 notes and vouchers for free packs were inserted randomly into bags of Walkers Crisps, helped achieve an "incredible" surge in sales, said the Reading based firm.
This time the prize fund is being almost doubled to £7m with more prizes and a greater chance of winning.
Launching for 12 weeks from September 9 and featuring in packs of Walkers Crisps and Walkers Max, the promotion will be backed by a three-week £1.5m TV ad campaign screened from September 19 and featuring Gary Lineker once again.
Trade marketing manager Jan Beacham said: "This is a proven sales opportunity for retailers."
