Premium cake and bread manufacturer Finsbury Food Group has promoted Paul Monk to joint deputy chairman.
Monk will share the deputy chairman's role with David Marshall when Finsbury completes the acquisition of celebration cake manufacturer the Lightbody Group.
He joined Finsbury in December 2002 and was previously the chief executive of Golden Wonder.
Lightbody MD Martin Lightbody will also join the board, on 1 May, as strategic development director.
Crawford Currie, finance director of Lightbody, will retain his title and join the Finsbury board.
