Pernod Ricard UK is to launch additions to its Montana range at the New Zealand annual tasting event for 2007.
The drinks giant is bringing out a sparkling variant and a Pinot Grigio and will complete its Terrior Series of three sub-regional styles.
The sparkling Montana Brut variant, priced at £8.99, will add to Pernod's growing sparkling wine portfolio, which includes Lindauer and Jacob's Creek. Montana differs from the other brands as its blend has about 80% Chardonnay grapes.
The company is also bringing out Montana Classic Pinot Grigio 2006, priced at £6.99. "We are really excited about the great potential for the Pinot Grigio style we are seeing coming out of recent plantings, especially in Hawkes Bay and Marlborough," said wine development director Adrian Atkinson.
It is also adding The Rail Bridge Sauvignon Blanc 2006 to its Montana Terrior series, priced at £9.99.
