Australian wine Moondarra is entering a new phase of its development this month with a launch into the off-trade.
Wine and spirits distributor Waverley has sold the brand successfully in the on-trade and has adapted it for sale in the take home market through its off-trade division International Wine Services.
A spokeswoman said: "The packaging had an on-trade restaurant style and we have completely changed it to highlight its Australian credentials. We have also improved the quality of the wines."
The brand is a joint project between Waverley and Australian producer Simeon. It is a two-tiered range with an entry level collection featuring Chardonnay, Shiraz, Semillon-Chardonnay and Shiraz-Cabernet retailing at £3.99.
The £4.99 Reserve range consists of Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
