Colgate is stepping up its action in the toothcare market with a range of toothbrushes to complement its Oxygen toothpaste.
The company has launched MicroSonic, a battery-powered toothbrush that combines high-speed sonic vibrations with multi-angled bristles. It pulses at 20,000 movements a minute, and removes more plaque than an ordinary manual toothbrush, Colgate claims. It is designed to mimic manual action.
Colgate has also launched 360, a brush with textured tongue and cheek cleaner and rubber polishing cups, designed to give a whole mouth clean. Then there is Smiles, a three-strong range of children’s manual toothbrushes.
MicroSonic (rsp: £4.49) and 360 (rsp: £3.49) are launched this month.
