Mornflake is launching porridge pots with a portion of Nutella or Lyle’s Golden Syrup.
Rolling into Waitrose stores nationwide next week, the co-branded Top Porridge pots contain instant hot porridge oats with a ‘top hat’ lid filled with a portion of Nutella or a sachet of Lyle’s Golden Syrup (rsp: £1.19).
The partnership was a natural next step for Mornflake, said marketing manager Richard Jones. “We are bringing something new to cereal, while staying relevant to breakfast and maintaining a broad family appeal,” he added.
The launch complemented marketing activity highlighting Nutella’s versatility at breakfast, said the spread’s brand owner, Ferrero.
