Morrisons is facing the threat of possible strike action at its distribution centres after the retailer said that it would be restructuring and reviewing its warehouse and distribution network.
More than 7,000 workers were balloted on strike action by the GMB and Transport and General Workers’ unions and the results are expected on September 15.
Morrisons has said that it is ready to talk to unions on an individual basis to avoid the strikes.
