Norman Pickavance, Morrisons’ group HR and communications director, is to leave the supermarket chain in June.
The retailer said Pickavance was leaving “to pursue opportunities outside of Morrisons” after five years in the role.
Karen Caddick, who joined Morrisons in February from Spirit Group, will take on the role of HR director, while director of corporate affairs and communications Richard Taylor will now assume responsibility for internal communications and events.
“Norman has been pivotal in making Morrisons an award-winning employer,” said chief executive Dalton Philips. “He has transformed our HR function and has been a great advocate for developing people from all backgrounds across the business.”
Philips added: “We are delighted Karen is stepping up to a wider HR role. She has a great track record and will drive our HR strategy forward.”
