Morrisons recalls smoked mackerel lines

Morrisons has issued a major product recall affecting five smoked mackerel products.

All date codes of Morrisons own-label smoked, smoked peppered, Mexicana smoked, smoked Scottish and smoked with lemon and parsley mackerel fillets have been recalled.

Morrisons took out product recall notices in the press on Monday saying was recalling the mackerel “as a precautionary measure because some fillets may be undercooked.”
