The saga of the single full basket continues this week, with it being Morrisons' turn to be the only store to have everything on our list.
Our shopper also praised the store for its wide aisles and lack of congestion.
Out of stocks were mainly a mixture of wrong deliveries and the continued pressure on space from Christmas lines. At Safeway, Anchor Spreadable had only been delivered in 500g packs, and the store had sold out of Penguin eight-packs. The latter was also out of stock at both Somerfield stores.
Asda had all the Jacob's Creek variants bar Shiraz Cabernet and no frozen chickens at all in the freezer.
Safeway's refurbishment was another disruption to the weekly shop making things difficult to find.
This will last until the spring but will include new counters and a new deli.
Meanwhile, overcharging affected the shop at Asda. Although our shopper was lucky to spot a 14p overcharge on potatoes and got an instant refund, this was spoilt by discovering later that pasta shells had been charged twice.
For the second week running, the best buy for our special Christmas purchase, this time of mince pies, came from Tesco and Asda where both checked in at 66p.
At Tesco, Craigmarloch, they cost 20% less than normal for one week only.
