The partnership will see the lockers installed at 230 Morrisons Daily stores by the end of spring

Morrisons has partnered with Quadient to deploy parcel lockers across its Daily convenience estate.

The partnership will see the lockers installed at 230 of its 1,000-strong Morrisons Daily estate by the end of spring, enabling consumers to pick up and return parcels securely from Royal Mail, Evri, DPD and UPS.

It also continues to work with other parcel locker service InPost. In addition, customers will continue to have access to the over-the-counter service in stores for collecting and returning Amazon parcels.

“Customers have told us that they want a broader range of services when it comes to parcel pick-ups and returns so we’re delighted to be expanding the options available at our Morrisons Daily stores via this partnership with Quadient,” said Morrisons convenience trading director Michael Weightman.

Quadient lockers automation director for Europe Katia Bourgeais Crémel said: “Our lockers seamlessly integrate into people’s daily routines, making parcel pick-up and drop-off more convenient than ever—this partnership with Morrisons Daily will enhance accessibility for communities across the UK.

“Our vision is to build an open, carrier-agnostic locker network that provides consumers with greater flexibility and retailers with new opportunities to engage customers –driving footfall, enhancing the shopping experience, and boosting in-store sales.”

Quadient has also partnered with a number of other convenience retailers recently, including the Co-op Group, East of England Co-op, and Chelmsford Star Co-op.
