Morrisons is boosting its yoghurt range with 20 new lines and improved recipes.
The retailer said additions would include a number of low-fat fruit fools – combining low-fat yoghurt and fruit pieces – as well as granola breakfast yoghurts and a crumble corner split pot.
The overall quality of Morrisons’ yoghurt range has also been improved, with 25 yoghurts being modified as part of the revamp.
The new range is being rolled out to stores this month.
Morrisons executive chef and head of innovation Neil Nugent said yoghurts were becoming increasingly popular with consumers.
“This new range will give them something they can have at any time of day and for any occasion,” he added.
