Müller is adding the first split-pot variant to its Müller Rice range.
Rolling out on 4 August, Müller Rice Remix comes in twin-packs in strawberry, plum and apricot flavours (rsp: £1.49)
The launch will be supported by a £5m media spend comprising outdoor activity and a new TV ad starring rapping grizzly bear Tasty B, who will also make an appearance at August’s V Festival.
The introduction of the new dessert was a result of consumer feedback, said Müller Dairy marketing and R&D director Michael Inpong. “Consumers wanted to take time to treat themselves and indulge in creamy dairy rice and fruity fruit compote their way,” he claimed.
In June, Premier Foods launched a range of ambient Ambrosia split-pot products that included a SKU with rice with a strawberry compote.
