Müller Dairy is to create up 50 new jobs at its Telford and Minsterley factories following strong growth in demand for own-label dessert and yoghurt ranges produced at the Shropshire sites.
Available posts include production operators, stores roles, process operators and engineering positions.
News of the job creation comes less than a month after Müller announced up to 43 job losses at its Market Drayton site as part of a “strategic review of operational efficiencies”.
Müller said it would give those affected by the job losses the opportunity to transfer to Telford or Minsterley. It employs 234 staff across the two sites, and almost 1,000 staff in Shropshire.
