What is your favourite

restaurant? There are so many wonderful restaurants near my home in Leicestershire. I particularly like the White Orchid Thai, as there's always a warm welcome and the food is delicious.

Do you prefer healthy food or junk food? I try to stick to a healthy diet, but I do believe that a little of what you fancy does you good.

Have you ever sent back or complained about a meal?

I haven't had to complain about anything recently, but I'd be the first to send back a meal that wasn't piping hot.

What would you request as your final meal? A Dickinson and Morris pork pie with a nice dollop of Mediterranean chutney.

What's your favourite tipple? Bacardi and Coke - it brings out my Latin spirit!

What would you rescue from your house if it was burning? My photo albums, especially my wedding piccies.

What's your fantasy car and what do you usually drive? I would love an Aston Martin Vanquish or Jaguar XKR. In reality, I drive a Renault Megane.

What are you reading at the moment? The Lady Killer by Martina Cole. It's a riveting read, but a little dark in places.

What gadgets do you carry around? I'm never without my mobile phone.

What was the last film you went to see at the cinema and what did you think of it? Brokeback Mountain, which I loved.
