South African wine Namaqua is being backed with a £200,000 marketing campaign over the summer.
A new ad for the bag-in-box wine brand will use the tagline Feel like getting fresh?' to carry the message that the wine is packaged and sourced in South Africa. The ads will appear in the pages of regional newspapers from the end of this month. Supermarket trollies and Adshels will also carry the ad.
Simon Halliday, MD of importer Raisin Social, said: "The bag-in-box category is booming at the moment. Namaqua is non-pretentious, easy-to-drink and specially adapted for the UK."
