He will be responsible for driving sales of Greene King's major beer brands ­ Abbot Ale, IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Ruddle's ­ in supermarkets, convenience stores and off-licences. Background: Jardine, 34, was previously sales director for Douwe Egberts UK ­ part of the Sara Lee Corporation ­ which he joined in 1998. He was responsible for retail sales in the UK and Ireland.
