Non-HFSS jelly brand Naturelly has added a line of high-fibre mixed fruit gummies.
Made with real fruit juice, they contain no added sugar or sweeteners and have just 5g of naturally occurring sugar per pack.
Each pack provides the entire 30g recommended daily intake of fibre and weighs in at just 68 calories.
They are listed on Amazon and will roll into Co-op and Nisa in January 2023 (rsp: 80p/40g).
Naturelly founder Dean Dempsey said he was “totally thrilled to make available our Naturelly low-sugar mixed fruit gummies”.
Not only were they “so epic” that the nutritional traffic lights on pack were all green, but they were also HFSS compliant, vegan and contained no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, said Dempsey.
Naturelly was among the cohort of healthier snacking brands which received the support of Mission Ventures’ pilot accelerator programme the Good Food Fund.
Following the pilot – which kicked off in 2020 and ran until 2022 – Mission Ventures is seeking a further 10 founders of progressive food and drink startups up to offer them £15k of equity-free funding, as well as two years of “practical brand and business support to accelerate growth”.
