Brakes has become the first food company to offer a Nectar reward scheme to its trade customers.
Through the Nectar for Business scheme launched this week, Brakes is offering independent food operators or retailers two Nectar points for every pound spent on its frozen, chilled and grocery products, as well as catering supplies and equipment. Rewards include computers and office equipment, cases of wine, flights, days out or a donation can be made to charity.
Head of the Nectar business programme Jan-Pieter Lips said there were plans to integrate further businesses into the trade programme this year.
