Nestlé is to end its instant coffee production in El Salvador and blamed high running costs and outdated machinery for the closure of the plant.
Nestlé said it would continue to sell instant coffee in El Salvador, and buy bags of beans from Salvador producers, distributing the coffee from another Latin American country.
It has yet to be decided where the company will produce instant coffee for the Salvador market.
